Friday, February 24 — The Party Continues …
Speaking of Mardi Gras Parties … It will be tough for the Blues Saloon to top the spectacle that they provided last Friday night. It was truly "Cirque du Wilebski" with fire-eaters, masks, beads, body-painting on a less-than-dressed lady, a man on stilts, dwarf-bowling and the music of the SoulMates. It was wild, wierd and entertaining. This Friday, February 24, veteran Chicago-bluesman, Studebaker John Grimaldi, will bring the sounds of Maxwell Street to the Blues Saloon. Music begins at 7 pm. Free food from 5 to 7 pm. — Jake Jacobson

Live Twin Cities Blues CD Recording
Sunday, February 26 @ Wilebski's Blues Saloon
We need a good crowd of enthusiastic blues fans to provide the energy, applause and dancing for this unique "Live" CD recording session. On Sunday, February 26 beginning at noon, Wilebski's Blues Saloon will become one big audio and video recording studio and everyone present will get to be a part of musical history.
The following artists have agreed to record a few songs each as a contribution to this local blues CD: Curtis Blake, Curtis Marlatt, Jimi "Prime Time" Smith, Bill Swanson, Tim O'Brien, Elijah Adam, Pat McLaughlin, Paul Wigen, Tony Houle, Jenny Thom, Aaron Ollswang and more. In addition, Annie Mack & Phil Schmid will perform in between bands to entertain the crowd. A $5 cover will be used to help offset production costs.
